What Your Sponsorship With FSI Can Provide

The Franklin School of Innovation, a free charter public school serving grades 5-12, has been offering a challenging college preparatory education for middle and high school students since August 2014. We opened our doors with 280 students. In just a few years we have grown to 600 students, graduated two classes of seniors, and have opened the first phase of our permanent building.

We would like to request consideration by your business to be an Annual Sponsor with FSI. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit (tax id: 46-1548530) and your donation would be fully deductible to the extent allowed by law. In exchange, we would be honored to promote your business all year! Please review the sponsorship levels to see how we can partner. Each and every one of our students and families will benefit from these donations that are used to support programs not covered by our state allocation. Though FSI is a public school, as a charter school, we do not receive funds for buildings nor do we receive any of the lottery funds that district public schools receive.

Your sponsorship helps in concrete ways that affect every student. Until all phases of construction are completed, FSI continues to have to pay for space to hold athletic events. We need basic supplies for our athletics, band, theater, music/chorus and art departments. Sponsorships help to pay for student transportation and the supplies we need in our buildings. We offer scholarships for needy students to participate in grade-level outdoor leadership trips.

Our curriculum is based on an EL (Expeditionary Learning) model created collaboratively between Outward Bound and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. With a service learning and project-based curriculum, we believe that education takes place at school as well as in the community. Through challenging academics, real-world learning and community engagement, our students discover their potential, recognize the value of others and are prepared for the future they will create.
