Going Beyond 62,458 Minutes A Year!
Before and after the school day, our staff give hundreds of hours of "overtime" to help students thrive. You can give "over time" with a small monthly donation that adds up!
2026 Giving Tuesday "Giving Over Time" Annual Campaign
Our school is funded for 62,458 minutes a year. That covers the school day itself, but it does not cover the buses that leave before sunrise, the sports practices, theatre rehearsals, or tutoring. It also does not cover the after-school programs and late nights we put in that make FSI feel like home. Our community gives those hours as overtime - beyond the state funding. This Giving Tuesday, we are asking you to help by giving over time as well.
A monthly gift works the way our community does, with a little from many people, each giving what they can. Recurring donations are a steady way to cover our funding gap and help us plan ahead.
Our goal is $60,000, which is $5,000 a month over 12 months. Here is what is needed from our community to make that happen:
- $25 a month (about $0.82 a day): 200 donors
- $50 a month (about $1.64 a day): 100 donors
- $100 a month (about $3.29 a day): 50 donors
Any mix of these pledges gets us to that goal.
Our students find their home here because people show up early and stay late. A monthly gift is a way to show up with us and those little gifts truly add up to make a difference!
